Battery-free and always on – Constant lighting mode:The Reelight AMS Constant is a minimalist hub-mounted light. A reliable, durable, and maintenance-free light, designed for bikes with V-brakes or cantilever brakes and perfect for daily urban use.Induction-powered:The AMS Constant is powered by magnets attached to the wheel spokes. The lights generate their own renewable energy by induction as the magnets pass the light – no batteries, no recharging, no worries.Once installed on the hub, the AMS Constant light automatically activates as soon as you ride, ensuring you are always visible and safe in traffic, day and night.Installation is quick and easy, and the lights are compatible with bikes with V-brakes or cantilever brakes. (For bikes with disc or roller brakes, see our Reelight SL200 series models).Mounting:The AMS Constant lights are attached to the hub with plastic brackets and offer an alternative to our SL100 and SL200 series.Installation is effortless: the lamp head slides into the bracket. Once you have found the desired distance between the lamp head and the magnets, secure the lamp to the bracket.Constant mode:The AMS Constant provides constant/stable lighting, in accordance with Dutch legislation. As the wheels spin, the magnets on the spokes generate energy by induction. This energy is stored in a capacitor, allowing the lamp to maintain a stable glow while riding.Specifications:Constant lightingPowered by magnets – no frictionNo batteriesWaterproof (IPX7) and tested for harsh weather conditionsAlways-on lighting (daytime running light) – reduces accidents by 47%Permanently mounted on the hubs – theft-proofEnvironmentally friendlyNot suitable for quick-release skewers without an adapterNote:Not suitable for bikes with disc brakes (see Reelight SL200 series instead). Not compatible with thru-axles (î12 mm).
