Lead replacement additive for valve seat protection in classic cars Eurol Petrol Lead Replacement has been developed for lubricating and protecting soft valve seats against wear, allowing your vehicle to run on modern unleaded petrol. This product is recommended for classic and antique cars designed to run on leaded petrol. Eurol Petrol Lead Replacement was designed as a lead replacement in petrol due to market demand for environmentally friendly fuel formulations. From the 21st century onwards, fuel may no longer contain lead (Tetra Ethyl Lead). The biggest problem for old cars, which now have to use unleaded fuel, is valve seat recession, as the lead in the old fuel formed a protective layer on the exhaust valves. Eurol Petrol Lead Replacement is specially formulated to provide good lubrication for the top of the cylinder and to protect the valve seats. Eurol Petrol Lead Replacement is particularly necessary when you run your classic car at high RPMs, drive competitively, or subject it to extreme loads over thousands of kilometres. 25ml of Eurol Petrol Lead Replacement is recommended for 25L of petrol. Add the additive to your fuel tank every time you fill up with regular unleaded petrol. Do not use Eurol Petrol Lead Replacement in vehicles (from around 2005) equipped with a catalytic converter as the product may have a potentially negative effect on the catalytic converter. It is not advisable to use Eurol Petrol Lead Replacement in combination with other fuel additives. See the manufacturer's recommendations.
