Even if your child can ride a bike independently, it's still nice to have a sturdy rear seat on your bike. One that's both safe and comfortable. The Qibbel Junior 6+ is suitable for children weighing 22 kg (approx. 5/6 years) and up to 35 kg.

Assembly with two left hands
Dreading the assembly? Don't worry. We're happy to take care of it for you, so our bike seats are easy to mount on the back. You don't even need any tools! Simply attach the seat to the carrier with the turn knob. Plus, the seat is ready to use right out of the box. So convenient! Want to see it first? The footrests are installed with an Allen key (size 5). Please note: an Allen key is not included!
You don't need any tools to install the foot protection plates either. Simply push the plates gently over the footrests and they will click into place. For added security, the included zip ties can be used to secure the plates to the outer edges of the bike frame.
Want to use the seat on multiple bikes? That's possible too. Because the seat is quick to assemble and disassemble, a spare set of footrests is all you need for quick changes. The footrests are sold separately.
Safety first
Safety is always our top priority. Did you know that 75% of accidents with a child on the back of a bike involve feet getting caught in the spokes? At Qibbel, we want to prevent that, so we include foot protection plates as standard. The Qibbel Junior 6+ also has a lap belt with a three-point buckle and an additional frame attachment. So you can ride with your child worry-free.
Locally made sustainably in the Netherlands
All Qibbel seats are made in the Netherlands. Development, component production, and assembly all take place at our factory in Krimpen aan den IJssel. Qibbel is part of Widek, a family business (established in 1936) that manufactures bicycle accessories. Local production minimizes transport distances, meaning fewer kilometers are traveled before the seat is on your bike. This is good for the environment. Furthermore, we only use green energy, more than half of which is generated ourselves. We also use recycled materials, and all our seats are easily repaired for a long lifespan. A sustainable solution!
