The isotonic sports drink replenishes both electrolytes and carbohydrates. The ratio is 70g to 1 liter of water / or 35g in a 500ml bottle contains approximately 8g carbohydrates per 100ml and almost the same osmotic pressure as body fluid. Ideal for endurance athletes who are going for long-term intensive exercise. Hypotonic Sports Drink: the Hypotonic sports drink is used as a thirst quencher and mainly replenishes electrolytes. The ratio is 20g to 1 litre of water or approx. 10g in a 500ml bottle contains less than 4g carbohydrates per 100ml. ADVICE ON USE Use as an isotonic sports drink 1. Dosage advice: dissolve 1 scoop of powder (approx. 35g) in a bottle with 500ml of water (or 1.5 scoops of 50g in a bottle with 750ml of water) 2. Recommended use: spread drinking the Isotonic Sports Drink during the warm-up (ideally drinking 200 to 300ml) over a period of 1 hour before the start until just before the effort/competition. During the effort/competition, if possible, drink approx. 300ml of the Isotonic Sports Drink every half hour. Use as a Hypotonic sports drink 1. Recommended dosage: dissolve half a scoop of powder (approx. 20g) in a 500ml bottle (or an almost full scoop (approx. 30g) in a 750ml bottle of water) 2. Recommended use: before and during training/competitions as needed. The guideline is to drink 500ml (1 bottle) to approximately 1 litre spread over 60 minutes. The amount depends on the temperature outside and the level of exertion.
