After approximately 20 hours of use, the battery indicator will indicate low battery power, but the lamp will continue to burn for at least another 5-7 hours. Once the lens cover is unscrewed, it can be removed with a twist, and the cartridge can be removed completely for easy and accessible battery replacement.
