The Thule Carbon Frame Adapter protects your expensive carbon frame when transporting your bike with a bike rack. The fixation pressure is distributed over a large area to minimize frame damage. It fits all frame types and is easy to adjust without loose parts. The adapter has a soft thermoplastic rubber lining to prevent scratches on the bike frame. Compatible only with Thule bike racks equipped with a torque limiter knob (e.g., Thule ProRide 598, Thule EasyFold, Thule EuroClassic G6, and bike racks with the Thule AcuTight Knob 528 accessory).
The Thule torque-adjustable knob helps protect vulnerable frame tubes. The Thule AcuTight knob has a built-in torque limiter that clicks when the optimal torque is reached, indicating correct installation.
