The capacitor is also designed to reserve energy so that the lights continue to flash for up to two minutes after a complete stop Æ thus providing visibility at intersections. We call this the reserve mode.\u003cbr\u003eNote: The capacitor must be charged before the reserve mode activates. This happens automatically during your first ride and usually takes 2 to 5 minutes.
